Indigestion Mix

A gentle pleasant tasting mixture that supports digestive function:

  • Indigestion and digestive discomfort
  • Heartburn
  • Acid reflux

Active ingredients are:

Chamomile - recognised traditionally and in pharmacopoeias worldwide this herb is bitter (which stimulates better digestion), soothing, stops cramping and is a strong anti-inflammatory.  It is a prized remedy for digestive problems and is clinically proven to help treat digestive discomfort.

Fennel - has been used historically and in pharmaceutical preparations for helping to soothe and regulate digestion as well as to reduce gas (flatulence), bloating, digestive griping and colic.  These are the uses for which the herb has been given German medical approval.

Celandine - is a great, bitter herb that stimulates and co-ordinates a more effective digestive process so that food, especially from a rich or large meal, is moved more efficiently through the digestive system.

Peppermint - has long been prized for its beneficial effect on digestion.  It is still used in pharmaceutical preparations, approved in German medicines and is clinically proven to alleviate heartburn and reduce colicky spasms in the digestive tract.

Wormwood - is used in aperitifs to improve digestion.  This herb not only stimulates digestive enzyme production, it is also anti-inflammatory on the digestive tract.

Thyme Heal’s Indigestion Mix effectively combines herbs that improve the speed and efficiency of digestion and reduce acid reflux, bloating and cramping.  Acid production is not inhibited as this is a biochemical process to enhance food breakdown to allow for proper absorption.  Whilst Thyme Heal’s Indigestion Mix is pleasantly bitter (a taste necessary to improve digestion) the flavours of peppermint and fennel make it easy to take.
