Thyme Heal’s Aqueous Cream is a wonderfully safe and gentle preparation that helps protect the skin and reduce irritation. Our Aqueous Cream can greatly assist in soothing skin that has become cracked, dry and/or irritated. The underlying causes of the skin problem should be dealt with by your health practitioner.
Active ingredients are:
Jojoba oil - the “oil” from jojoba is really a wax and it has the great distinction of being the most like human sebum, the oily secretions that our skin naturally produces. It is not oily or greasy but provides a good barrier for dry, irritated skin to help prevent it becoming itchy and prone to cracking. It is well absorbed and therefore helps to nourish skin as well as being anti-inflammatory and antioxidant.
Provitamin B5 - helps the skin to retain moisture. Moisturising and softening.
Wheat germ oil - this plant oil is rich in vitamin A, D and E and is antioxidant. It helps to nourish and soothe irritated skin, encouraging healing and reducing scarring.
